Book one project: Dauntless experience camp

Just imagine going through the same thing Tris did, imagine jumping from the roof handling a gun fighting your opponents and finally going through your fear landscape. Now you can at this one week long real life dauntless experience camp.
You will be dropped off at the train station December 16th. Once everyone has arrived you will all board the train and make your way to the compound. Once there you will jump off the moving train. If you wish not to do this then it will eventually stop and you will get off then and make your way to the other dauntless. Try to face your fears because "Fear doesn't shut you down, it wakes you up" The whole time you stay with us you will be scored and ranked and not jumping from the train is an easy way to lower your score from the beginning. Next we will all move to the roof where you will be asked to jump from 7 stories up. If you have not read the book you will find out that there is a net to catch you and you will be perfectly safe. But like the train you may choose to not jump, but also like the train it will lower you score. Once everyone has reached the bottom you will be introduced to your new councilor and no it will not be four.  Then you get to tour the whole camp and you will be shown your new living courters for the next 5 days. Then you will be set free to do as you wish you may get a fake tattoo or dye your hair to make you look more dauntless. As of clothing everyone will be given basic black dauntless clothes. But if you wish to do so then you may buy more extravagant ones at the store. Also breakfast lunch and dinner are all free to everyone. Also you will be given cake, because what else would dauntless have for dessert. Bedtime will be around 10:30 and anyone caught not in their rooms at this time will be thrown in the chasm.
Day two is leaning to fight. Real martial arts directors will be there to show you very real and dangerous combat moves. You will also be ranked by your ability to learn from the instructors. You will not use these newly learned skills on another person, that part comes later. Food is given to you throughout the day and training ends at 8. After that you are free to roam the compound as you wish until bed time.
Day three is shooting. We will all meet at the shooting range at first will be given a paintball gun so that you learn the safety procedures first. Then you will be handed a real weapon with live ammo. You will be closely monitored by your councilor to make sure you don’t accidentally hurt somebody. Then it’s time to put your skills to the test. You will go one by one and will be watched and judged by all the counsels. Targets will pop up and move and spin and it is your job to hit as many as you can in a limited time. Then we will all gather and get back on the train and split into two teams and we will all participate in one of the biggest paintball war you have ever seen. It will be a basic capture the flag game and whoever wins gets mass respect and a extra piece of cake when you get back. Also winning will help your raking.
Day four is fighting. Remember when you learned how to fight; now you get to put those skills to use. There will be a huge one loss elimination tournament. Each gender will have their own tournament. Don’t worry there will be a number of rules and refs to make sure that you are safe but not to much that it is no longer fun or challenging.
Day five is the finale day before leaving the compound and the day you have all been waiting for. You will go through your own fear landscape. Since there is no such thing as a simulation serum we have made something as close to it as possible. You will be asked your fears on a lie detector and your answers will be then to a 3-D high definition movie clip."Becoming fearless isn't the point that's impossible its learning how to control your fear and how to be free from it." You will then walk into the fear landscape room witch is one big screen in a complete circle and experience that movie. It will be realistic and very scary. You may stop that movie with a safe word whenever you want to but if you want to rank high I advise against it. After everyone has gone you will be given your score. Do your best and don't underestimate your opponents "A brave man acknowledges the strength of others" Don't worry no one is going to go frictionless but more campers are very excited to see where they would have stood if they lived in the world of divergent.
The point of this camp is to bring you closer with the feeling and challenges of the characters in the movie while you are still completely safe. Also it will make people who maybe have not read the book want to, to see how close their experience was to the characters in the book. Don’t forget faction before blood and I hope you choose dauntless.

my book

i am now reading divergent and i am really enjoying it. it has gone far past the expectation i had when i first picked up the book. what i really enjoy about the book is how the author tells what is going on and how the characters feel. the way she does it make everything seem more real. one example is that the main character did not beat up a group of guys when she has never even fought someone before. the fist time she actually fought someone she got knocked unconsciousbecause she had no idea what she was doing so she had to learn and practice those skills to be good at them just like we have to do in the real world. Also the romance in this book is more realistic because she doesn't see someone and automatically fall in love with them but she slowly start to spend more time with that person creating a relationship with him and it grows stronger throughout the book. i think that is a good representation of what actually happens in the real world.

a book is a person

I think a book is more like a person in many ways because you can like or book or hate one based on its thoughts and ideas. Sometimes you even find that one book you really like and cherish almost like your best friend because you like that book more than all the other books. You agree with all the ideas and concepts the book has to offer. They are also like people because they are all roughly characterized as one thing such as some are Sci-Fi or Non Fiction ore Romance the same way people are characterized as nerds or jocks. But when you get past that main thing there is more to the book. There are all different categories all jumbled together to make a great and intriguing story. I also believe this is the same with people that once you get to read more into them and learn more about them you start to realize there is more to that person than just what you see on the surface. People can change the way we feel like when you’re in a bad mood and there is that one person that makes you feel better to just be around.  Books also change how you feel in the same sort of way people do once you get lost in your book you start to forget whatever was troubling you before.  Some books you are forced to read weather it is by school or work and you usually don’t like that book but you have to work with it and get through it to get the job done. There will also be a lot of people you meet that you don’t like but sometimes you just have to work with them because that’s what you need to do to get the job finished. I think that the only and best way to read a book is not by your phone or your computer. I think it is by actually holding that book in your hand and reading of the pages. Because there is a difference between talking to someone in person and texting them or reading about them on a social media website. And if I book is like a person then it is only logical that you actually read the book while holding it in your hand rather than of a screen to get the best and most personal experience out of it.
